Caribbean Politics

This course provides an introduction to the politics of Caribbean states, from 1960 to the present.  It will discuss major issues that affect the Caribbean region, namely, migration, proverty, regional economic cooperation and political integration, democratic institutions, and U.S. foreign policy towards the region.
