Who Can Apply?:

In the fall 2010, Dr. Lehman Benson (Associate Professor of Management at the UA Eller College of Management) and Dr. Alain-Philippe Durand (SILLC Director and Professor of French) created the SILLC Global Award Fund by each pledging $500.00. The competitive SILLC Global Award benefits UA undergraduate students in good standing (and with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher) who major in any of the SILLC disciplines (Africana Studies, Chinese, Classics, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Religious Studies, Russian) or minor in a critical language.
