AFAS 223 - African Philosophical Worlds

Course will introduce students to Black philosophical works from African, African American and Caribbean scholars. This course will outline a genealogy of Black thinkers influenced by core African philosophies. Students will explore various philosophical belief systems born before and during colonialism, and that trend in postcolonial societies.
