Africana Studies
2016

I majored in Africana Studies. The lessons that I learned in the major were invaluable. From learning how to think critically, learning to write, and research. All of these things helped me when I went to law school and even today as a lawyer. One of the courses that stuck with me was the research class we were required to take. That class taught me how to approach issues without bias that way I can find the truth, not what I want to be the truth – which is a skill that I put to use in my career.
